Trust Flow

Trust Flow Metrics and Your Web Pages

Trust Flow is the queen of all link metrics for 2021. In laymen’s terms, Majestic measures the quality of the incoming link traffic, the quality of that traffic’s destination, and the connections that the connection forms with the anchor text in the text-link relationship. In essence, Majestic measures “the amount of faith and credibility of a website has.”

The following charts display the top ten organic traffic and trust-flow metrics for the past year. All data is provided continuously. We will discuss some exciting trends in organic traffic and citation flow throughout the year. Go Now to see more details.

Trust Flow. This is a new entry on the chart and has only recently been introduced. Organic search engine traffic and trust-flow metrics rank very close together, so it was only a matter of time before this measurement got its own chart. To simplify the metrics a bit, we are just going to focus on the first component of this measurement: the “trust factor.” When computing the score, we simply take the total number of links that appear on a page, divide it by the total number of pages that have been displayed. For example, if there are four pages displayed, then we would calculate the “trust factor” as (4 x 100).

Citation Flow. This is another new metric that we are going to talk about because it was introduced just recently. Organic search engine traffic and trust-flow metrics rank very close to each other, so it was only a matter of time before this measurement got its own chart.

High Citation Flow. Search engines love good trust flow and high citation flow. In technical terms, high citation flow is defined as the number of times a search engine returns a web page. Many search engines, including Google, count all web pages in the index, so the higher this number is, the better off you are.

Google, Yahoo, and MSN, among others, use a special PageRank formula to determine their own PageRank. This formula was developed by a Google engineer, David Bailey, so that Google could give its visitors a better experience. It is not publicly available, but many people have claimed to have seen the formula in use at Google. This is why we believe the mention of “PageRank” above the mentioned “trust-flow metrics” on the list of trust-flow metrics is important.

The formula is very easy to understand once you know how to read Google. First, you have to understand that Google wants to make sure that its algorithms, which are used to calculate their PageRank, are as accurate as possible. Therefore, they make updates to their algorithm on a regular basis. This way, Google constantly improves their algorithms, making them better for everyone, including the developers and designers at Google. Secondly, if you want your website to do well on the major search engines, you have to be on Google’s good graces. If you build brand trust with Google, you will have a better chance of building brand trust with other websites and social media sites.

The last thing on the list, “quality content” describes two different things. We have already talked about how Google works to filter out spam when it comes to searching. They also work to provide quality content that is useful to users. To gain trust flow with Google, you have to provide a lot of useful and relevant content and your web pages must always be fresh and up-to-date. Otherwise, your site will simply be buried amongst the sea of millions of others.
